I was born and raised in NYC and now by some strange twist of fate I own a house in west kendall. I grew up eating the best pizza on the planet from legendary NYC pizzerias such as patsy's in Harlem and Grimaldi's in Brooklyn. From the dollar slice cabby spots to the crème de la crème of pizza, I've had it all.
My friends down here call me a pizza snob.
I used to talk so much trash about Miami pizza until I discovered old world a few years ago. Ever since I found this place I've been picking up a pie or two for the family almost every Friday night. When I call to order a pie for pickup they have it hot and ready in about 15 minutes every time. The crust is thin and crispy with the perfect ratio of sauce to cheese and the crust is always thin and charred to perfection with just the right amount of flop.
Everytime I take my first bite I feel like im back home again. The place is always clean and the staff is friendly and attentive.
They also have chalkboard paint on the walls so the kids can keep themselves entertained if you ever find yourself dining in.
This place is absolute fire and if you ever miss NYC but don't want to splurge on a plane ticket, just order a pie. It's way cheaper and you don't have to deal with the TSA. -

Called to pick up and was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. I picked it up just at 15 minutes, got home and was expecting hot fresh pizza. No wonder the waiting time was short, the pizza had probably been already made before I called and just sitting there. I received the complete opposite from fresh, the pizza looked and tasted like it had been sitting there for hours. At least pretend correctly and make sure it's warm. Do not waste your money here. What a disappointment.

One of my favorite pizza places! I'm the kind of pizza lover that prefers the thin New York style pizza so if you're like me, definitely give this place a visit. They have a $5 lunch deal- 2 slices and a drink. I got the pesto and sausage pizza and as usual, it's delicious! I also appreciate that they have a pesto pizza option. I had never seen that before.
This restaurant itself is nice. It has two long wooden picnic tables inside and the walls are chalkboard so you often see pizza quotes or pie jokes on there. It's interactive and fun to look at. Will come again! -

Very fresh, they don't over cook the pizza. Fast and delicious! Highly recommend.
We ordered pep, onions and basil. -Yummy -

If you are into thin pizza made in a brick oven this is the place to visit in West Kendall. Pizza is always made to order and it's similar to New York style. You won't be disappointed no matter what pizza you decide to try.
